The Panasonic NN-CD989 is by far the best thing I have ever bought. It is hands down a much better than my old microwave. It is built extremely well and has solid precision latches that have a sweet sound almost like the closing of the door on a luxury vehicle.

I have read some really harsh reviews for this product and I for one cannot understand all the hating on this microwave. I have had one for years and when it dies I do intend to replace it with the exact same one.

There is no way around it, l have to give this oven 5 out of 5 stars. This is one remarkable microwave oven and what is even more remarkable is how the convection component works in tandem with it. It may not perfect, but then again what is. There are some negative things that should not go unmentioned but I will get to those later.
