GE JE740

At the moment, GE has many model of JE740. There are: JE740WH, JE740BH, JE740GY, JE740WY, JE740BK, JE740WK, JE740DRWW and JE740DRBB. To make easier to know the color, see the word W which is refer to white and B refer to black color.

With such overwhelmed model, what are the different between them? Most likely they are the same and the differences only in cooking convenience button. I have make a comparison table so it is easier for you to spot the difference. But before we take look on the difference why don’t we take a look on the features they have:

Their capacity are 0.7 cu ft.

Easy to operate with one touch cooking button there are 9 Codes for cooking, 3 codes for reheat and 6 codes for snacks but this code will change into 4 codes for vegetables in JE740DRWW and JE740DRBB

Add 30 Seconds button has 2 functions. First, it can add 30 sec during your cooking time or you can use it for a quick 30 seconds cooking time.

There are 2 type of defrost. Auto and time. You can use auto defrost for defrosting poultry, meat and fish. And use time defrost for frozen foods.

They have 2 time cook – Time I and II. The first one allows you to setup the time up to 99 minutes and 99 seconds, the seconds one allows you to change power level automatically during cooking time.

Note: I can’t get enough data on JE740GY and JE740WY, so I couldn’t include them in the table and when I search, all of the stores don’t have this product.
